Insta-Bed Queen Air Mattress with Never Flat Pump – Inflating Video & Features + Review

www.PaulsTravelPictures.com

This is the Insta Raised Bed with Never Flat Pump made by Insta-Bed that we bought for $105. We needed another guest bed for a couple and this one seemed to have the best reviews on Amazon.

It is a good height for getting in and out of the bed easily but not quite as high as one of the “double height” beds.

I really like the firmness setting dial on the main pump controls and also the “never flat” secondary pump is a nice feature for keeping the bed firmly inflated all night.

The never flat pump came on when I was crouched right by it setting up the bed and it was really quiet. I highly doubt it would wake anyone up even a light sleeper.

Our guests said they slept well on the mattress and didn’t hear the secondary pump come on.

The vinyl seems thick and durable unlike some really cheap air beds I have bought in the past from Wal-Mart or Target.

$105 is a lot for an air mattress, but we didn’t want to have our guests waking up on the floor or rolling together if the bed stretched out over night.

We thought that maybe our spare set of full size guest bed sheets would fit on this queen bed since the sizes are similar and sometimes queen air beds are smaller than a regular queen mattress. But this Insta-Bed is just as large as a real queen bed and we had to use spare sheets from a king bed to cover it.

Overall, I think it is a high quality air bed and should last a long time.

I bought one of these never flat Serta beds a few months ago last night was the first time I’d had the occasion to use it. I plugged it in I pumped it up and we were laying on the bed more than five minutes before it was a third deflated and then never flat blower didn’t kick back in all night long we have had to get up when we woke up because we are too uncomfortable to turn the pump on to reinstate it. I noticed that there was air escaping from the front plate of where the air pump is so I tried to cover it with duct tape but still it deflates and the Never flat never kicked in. Can you tell me how I can repair this or if I’m doing something wrong

BOYCOTT PC says:

it was still under warranty.  I am getting a new mattress.  I had to cut out the offending area that caused the leak and the mattress logo.
I will toss what is left of the mattresses as soon as the new one comes in.
their customer warranty service was great.

So, a pump vac already comes with the bed? Or do i have to buy a pump vac to blow it up?

I have a question. I bought another style of airbed that holds up to 750 pounds (I am 300 so I need one that will hold my weight better) and was wanting to know how much this bed will hold up to. And will the air temperature effect the way it hold air? Thank you.
