Graco Maple Ridge 4-in1 Convertible Crib Review

The Graco Maple Ridge 4-in-1 Fixed Side Convertible Crib (in white) is definitely a very nice crib. Not only is it solid and sturdy, it provides multiple functionality, and did I mention it is BEAUTIFUL? I received this crib my mail sent directly to my home, which is nice because I do not have a vehicle that I would have been able to pick up up with had I bought it in the store. The box it comes in is easily 4ftx3ft and around 70lbs, so beware if you buy this item in stores, or have it shipped site to store, make sure you have a vehicle it would fit in such as a truck or the top of an SUV. And it is HEAVY, so you will need at least 2 people to move. Putting it together was not too hard, and could be a one person job, but will be best with at least two people. It comes with a full set of instructions and all the tools you need for assembly. Instructions are simple and have pictures to aid you, and are numbered in sequence. Tools and screws and such are all labeled and packaged so you can easily find which screws correspond with the letters as needed in the instructions. The only thing I did not like was that the instructions had labels for each wood piece of the crib, however the crib did not have corresponding stickers to it so the best I could do was look and see if the crib piece matched the picture in the instructions to make sure I had the right piece. Assembly was pretty easy however and it took two of of approximately a half and hour to put the whole thing together. Make sure you assemble the crib in the room in which you are going to use it, because when together it does not fit through standard door frames and you will not be able to move to another room without taking it back apart. I love the fact that this crib serves multiple functions. Not only is it a beautiful solid white crib, the front is removable for conversion to a toddler bed, and then finally is able to convert to a beautiful sleigh headboard and foot board for a full sized bed. Not all pieces are included. You need to buy a crib mattress as it does not come with one. Same goes for if you decide to use as a full sized bed you would need to buy a universal bed frame to connect headboard and foot board to, as well as full side mattress and box spring. That being said it is still nice to have because this bed will essentially last your child throughout their entire time living at home and even after if they so choose to keep it when moving out. I love the sleekness of this bed and how beautifully it was made. I have had other cribs that were not very sturdy and this one is definitely more sturdy than most I have seen. In previous cribs i have owned it was kind of nice to have an open bottom to use as storage but the closed bottom of this crib gives a nice molding effect which really makes it look regal and clean. And a plus so stray toys under the crib! It even comes in multiple colors for whatever theme you may have in mind for your child’s room! All in all I have to say that I love this crib and I would definitely recommend it to anyone.
