What happened to waterbeds? They were so cool!

I have a king size waterbed with free flow mattress and have had it since January 2011 and I love it!!! It’s very comfortable and the waves are very relaxing to me. My dad built the frame and I bought a waterbed bundle off ebay. I will be downsizing to a queen size soon though as it takes up a lot of space in my bedroom. Waterbeds are still made. You however have to buy them online these days. Check out http://www.thewaterbedfactory.com/. They make hardside waterbeds just like ones from the 80’s. I will be buying my next one from them. They sell softside ones too.
