New mattress company Idle is here to bring it customers the ultimate in sleep comfort with its line of flippable beds that feature two firmnesses in one. For this review, I’ll be taking a look at the Double-Sided Latex Hybrid, which combines pocketed coils with bouncy latex foam for an all-encompassing sleep.

While I’m certainly intrigued by this two-birds-with-one-stone approach, I won’t know how comfortable it actually is until I put it to the test to figure out how it feels, how it sleeps and whether or not it could be the bed of your dreams.

As I mentioned up top, I’m looking at the brand’s Double-Sided Latex Hybrid, whose layers of talalay latex and pocketed coils stack up to an impressive 14” profile. The densities of the various latex sections differ slightly in the version that I have in the review, giving the bed a Medium firm feel on one side and a Luxury Firm feel on the other. To switch between the two, all you have to do is flip the bed over!

There are also versions of the IDLE Latex mattress that have the same firmness level on both sides of the mattress. This comes in handy for those that want to flip the mattress to help avoid impressions in the cover and extend the lifespan of the mattress.

For my assessment, I only looked at the bed with the Medium firm section on top. To see what this construction looks like, let’s dive on into the mattress!

I should note that when you buy your Idle, you can choose to have Firm on both sides, Medium on both sides or Medium on one side and Firm on the other.

That’s all for now, to learn more watch or read my full review!

I’d like to see a comparison between the Brentwood Home Cedar and the Idle latex medium side.
