So what’s better, latex or memory foam mattresses?
How do latex mattresses compare to memory foam mattresses?
Find out what the main differences are between latex and memory foam. Crystal from Essentia Mattresses reviews the differences between latex and memory foam mattresses to give you the low down!
Hi Everyone, it’s Crystal from Essentia, makers of the only natural memory foam mattresses in the world.
This is a quick comparison between latex and traditional memory foam.
So this is latex, and this is memory foam. Natural latex is made from rubber tree sap. The sap is frothed up like a milk shake and baked to create this foam. As for memory foam, well we’ve all see this stuff on TV.
Both latex and memory foams are extremely durable, and each have their pros and their cons.
See as a squeeze the latex, you can actually see it pushing back on my hand. It’s very firm and rubbery, not the most comfortable thing to sleep on.
See as I squeeze the memory foam, there’s much less resistance. It’s actually gently accommodating my hand. As I move my hand it slowly comes back up to its regular shape. The slow response means it won’t be pushing back against your body and that’s why memory foam is so popular.
That’s where we come in. Essentia foam is a natural latex foam that feels like memory foam, so you get all the comfort of memory foam without the gunk.
